Does anyone know what platform the original Magical Drop was on? Was it only released in Japan, or released under a different name, or what? Is there going to be a sequel to 3? I can't find any information on this game. I'd be interested in trading info/strategies on the different characters and their attributes. I'm still trying to beat Black Pierrot in the vs. mode, and haven't come any nearer doing so in the last month of attempts.

Magical Drop 1 was released as its own arcade game, but I think in the
US the name was changed to "Chain Reaction". There's a Super Famicom
port of Magical Drop 1 too.

There are some damn good Magical Drop players on MARP (you reading
this, Steve?), but I prefer Money Puzzle Exchanger.
