By this statement, i would like to say that TG Mame, is a illegal version of Mame, according to the Mame License. Releasing the source is not enough,when you dont distribute the complete source with ALL changes.

My point is,that distributing this mame version public on web pages (like its done now), or in private as i have heard has been discussed is illegal, and does only harm Mame and i require it to be stopped distributed and used.

It breakes not only one point in the license,but a few :

<p>

1. Not open source
2. Does not follow Mame release numbers,even if its a 0.35 version
3. Disables features that is not intended to be disabled.

SO STOP DISTRIBUTING IT AND STOP USING IT. This includes the Deca2000 too.

OK. Is it just me or do others smell something too? I have seen
messages from Nicola before, and I am pretty sure his English was
better than this. And I just compared this message to Stig's latest
message and made some very interesting observations:

(1) Both use "i" instead of "I".

<p>

(2) Both usually forget putting in a space following a comma.

<p>

(3) Nicola: "people that has done"; Stig: "people that has made".

<p>

(4) Both forget apostrophes in words like "didn't", "don't", "it's".

<p>

(5) Both spell it "Mame". I should imagine that Nicola would use what
seems to be the official spelling: "MAME".

(6) And why no mails? Because he didn't post it to start with?

Nice detective work, Ben Jos. It seemed fishy to me too since I knew
Nicola could spell better than that based on his message board
posts. And hey, soon after the faked post Stig speaks up saying
that all the rules and voting for the tourney should be scrapped
and started over. How odd that it would almost seem like Stig WANTED
this to happen, eh? He'll try anything to get his way (see the "gang
voting" for T2).

tournament anyway even if it WAS MAME .35. It's a sorry excuse for a
good game. Why people like it is beyond me.

was exlcuded twice, but I have not ONCE tried to rig the tournament

wrote that message. I read my mail and read Nicola's and Gamebvoy9's
message,and posted a response. Why dont you go to hell yourself. Why
dont you mail Nicola and get an answer,that he didnt post it ? I am
ver sure you will never get an answer. My connection to TG is nothing
to bring up here. I have told Gamyboy9 many times that i wont compete
in this tourney. But accusing me for posting fake mails is very
