Can anyone remember the name of the following game.
<p>
It was a view from above shoot-em-up where the background was like a worm-hole with 60's style psychadelic walls to the worm-hole that looked like cells under a microscope.
<p>
ie: The walls were made up of hexagonal cell shapes with the bits in the middle black and the "walls" of the cells in various colours.
<p>
The worm-hole walls tended to cycle slowly through various colour schemes and the enemies that you had to shoot came "through" the worm-hole.
<p>
Your ship was allowed 360º rotation around the top of the worm-hole in the style of Gyruss and Tempest etc.
<p>
I believe it was added in a recent beta of Mame or failing that in a recent WIP update, but can't for the life of me find it or remember the game name.
<p>
Looking forward to your responses.....
<p>
Cheers,
BeeJay.

I remember this being such a popular game at the local bowling alley
growing up. The memories...

Panic Tube could be the one I'm thinking of, especially since I seem
to remember it having a Nichibutsu copyright.
<p>
Star Castle is too old to be the one I'm thinking of.

BeeJay.
