sometimes the clones are fundamentally different. For example, let's
say you don't understand Japanese -- Puzzle & Action 2 English is
going to be a much different experience than Puzzle & Action 2
Japanese, since some of the puzzles require understanding the words.
(well, at least one, I haven't tried the game that much yet)

I vote "E" - 100 points for the original, and a cap of 50 points on
clones, for single-mode games.

For multiple-mode games (Magical Drop, MPE, etc.), 50 points for each
of the original modes, and, IF there are clones, 25 points for each
of the modes in the clones. (This will only start to matter if MAME
gets around to putting in the English driver for Soldam or some other
games...)
