using mame65 you can get it to playback 16-0-1, i used

He only goes for 300 seconds, looking at the special rules i think this recording could go further if the difficulty settings were correct.

no, not a wrong version, i think chad is just saying it can be played back in a much later version than 37b7. Parsley wasn't still at MARP when .65 came out, if I recall (i'm not sure i was either).

i'm guessing this is because nothing much has changed on the playchoice driver, chad? it does seem a bit unusual.

i updated his description with your findings, since to most of us it seems counterintuitive.

It's just something I've seen before, m37b7 is not all that far from version mame65 (they changed from major minor versions to the standard single number mame version around that time: m37b15->mame58 or something like that)
