Edit: Bah, unfair. They could have handled more weight, the fish was just too big to get a grip on. The guitar riffs during the character screen made me laugh for some reason, I'm easily entertained it seems.
Not particularly funny, but it does lay to rest that whole superior japanese intellect stereotype. Some easy math would have shown that there was no way this would work. I suppose it was mostly for show though.
