Point difference scoring for Hockey games

Post by Buttermaker »

We have point difference scoring for Basketball. It would make sense to use it for Hockey as well (unless the game has its own scoring system of course).

Agree/disagree?

I agree. Should be the same in all these types of games as long as there is no other scoring system in the game that works better (As Buttermaker points out)

Oh absolutely.

Scoring by goals scored without regard to goals given up makes no sense whatsoever. How did that happen in the first place?
