I've recorded a "decent" run on Vs. mode in Neo Bomberman, but I'm having the damndest time figuring out how to score it.
<p>
The scoring system was implemented to prevent ties on Bomberman, Bomberman World, and Atomic Punk... but I don't think ties would be much of a problem in Neo Bomberman, since it's considerably easier to rack up wins. The current scoring system rewards draws, which is a fair way to score on the other games since you have a limited amount of lives... but in Neo Bomberman, where a draw just prolongs the game since SOMEONE has to win two games to take the "set"... well, like Ashuime said, if someone can get "stalling" down they can get a lot of points when they're not getting any wins. And that's another problem, since the match isn't over until someone wins two games, winning one and then beginning to "leech" gives the player a little leeway... if they finally screw up, their game isn't over, they can win on the next game.
<p>
Therefore, for simplicity's sake, I feel that Neo Bomberman's Vs. mode should be scored by total number of wins/sets/crowns/whatever the hell you wanna call them. Not to mention it'll get rid of this headache I'm getting from trying to figure out how to apply this scoring when different CPU characters are winning games and prolonging the set....

No kidding, although I think I'd prefer to have it done as follows:

-1 point for a loss
0 points for a draw of any sort
<p>
The scores would be lower, but the draw-leech trick wouldn't work,
and you'd have less ties anyway.

I beleave you are just joking.most of your score is selecting bonus.<br>
so your real score is very little.any drunk guy can get 2,010,000 points at this game.<br>
I know that not so bad player can get 10million at this game with ease.<br>
"king" is not so cheap word. I know that my is too poor to be called "The KING".<br>
If you really want to see the KING, let you download S.Krogman's galaga,joustgod's joust,crash's crash
or Do-donpachi god's page's one or eclips's. mines are not enough.<br>
