Donut has suggested additional points being given for misses left. I don't think that will be needed (although, not a bad idea) as the white plane's shots at varying targets will prove to be the random factor in determining one's ultimate score. It is very doubtful that we would have 30-way ties in this game because of this factor.
<p>
It is good to see such an ancient game get taken to its maximum like this.

I think I can confirm that indeed both versions of Canyon Bomber end 
after the fourth canyon has been cleared. So, it is now a matter of
how many of the 2616 possible points a player can get...happy bombing
fellas!

I'd say getting within 400 of the maximum (2216) would be pretty 
impressive, since it'd require that the computer REALLY suck for that
