Auto-fire ???
Can an Editor with that INP-Checker thingy , confirm whether that score of 10m+ on Truxton used Auto-fire please ?
<p>
A great recording , no mistake , but auto-fire does wonder for concentration....
<p>
Cheers,

Very unfortunately, my answer is "No I did not use it."<br>
autofire is much faster.<br>
..and autofire does not help so much at this game.<br>

Autofire detection yield negative on this recording. Average presses
across recording is about 3.5 presses per second, i.e. there were 40k
presses during the 12k seconds of the recording. The average burst
presses were about 10 presses per second, sounds pretty fast to me,
but NOT hardware assisted autofire.

"3,5 presses"?????? This makes VERY near to the autofire in the Mega
Drive/Genesis version.<br>
And,if 3,5 are very few for an auto-fire ,what you use,an AR33-rifle
for playback with auto-fire???

3.5 *average* presses, there are not exactally 3.5 presses for every
second during the input. there are times where no presses are made
and times when 10+ presses are made during each second. Speed is not
the main issue (infact more of a non issue) when determinig
autofire. it's how the presses are made that can distinguish a fast
human pressing from a autofire mechanism.

I'd a same thought than Alex when I seen the beginning of Hisa's
Darius recording. But, after 2 or 3 stages, my opinion change. There
are no autofire, but a very fast human, and an excellent player.
Great leeching Hisa
 and... Bravo, for your last live. With this
live you gaign my total respect.

Thanks Chad for the info . Although obviously I didn`t think autofire
was used every time during the recording . Only in certain parts ,
where say , 'red' fire was used . Autofire can be un-helpful in this
game , but I was amazed by the speed of fire in certain parts ? And I
thought I was fast on one button !
<p>
But all things aside , a great recording Hisa , and one hell of a
fast 'finger-basher' . Wow...
<p>
Cheers,
<p>

I always use 2 fingers to shot. not 3.<br>
so the point using bomber at time,my shot speed must be slow down.<br>
for example the stage 3 boss of loop 4 and loop 5.<br>

But for shooting with 2 buttons (1 for shoot, 1 for bomb), who use 3
fingers ? Not me

I use 3 fingers
2 for shoot, 1 for bomb.
I can press 12 times per second.

God ! I was using 4 fingers : 1 for shoot, 1 for bomb, 1 in my nose
and 1 scratching my shoulder ... and just can press 1 time per 12
seconds ; that's why I'm so bad on shooters !!
